Maura MacNeil is a writer, editor, and teacher. She is the author of the poetry collections: A History of Water, Lost Houses, and This Last Place. Her poetry, prose, and critical writing have been published and anthologized in numerous publications over the past three decades including Penning the Pandemic: An Anthology of Creative Writing from the Beginning of the Covid Era; Mud Chronicles: A New England Anthology; Poet Showcase: An Anthology of New Hampshire Poets; and Voices from the Frost Place Volume II. She is the founder and editor of Off the Margins, a website that features writing and reflection on the life of an artist from women who “fearlessly tell the truth and risk vulnerability to give voice to their experience.” She is currently on the roster for the New Hampshire Humanities to Go program for her interactive workshop titled: “Family, Memory, Place: Writing Family Stories. For over two decades, she has been a professor of writing at New England College in Henniker, NH.
